Call, Message or Edit a Contact
Making a Call
To make a Call, hover over a contact with your mouse and click on their extension.

This will bring up a dropdown menu where you can choose how the call will be made. For example, with your desk phone or with SmartComm UC Desktop.

Sending a Message
To send a Message, hover over a contact with your mouse and click on the message icon all the way to the right. Then click “Chat”.

A chat box at the bottom of your screen will expand. From here you can send a message, add more people to the chat, call the contact or delete the conversation.

Editing a Contact
To Edit a contact, hover over their contact box with your mouse and click pencil icon all the way to the right of the contact.

A modal will appear which allows you to change contact information such as name, number, extension, etc.

Favoriting a Contact
To Favorite a contact, hover over their contact box with your mouse and click on the star icon directly to the right of their name. Favorited contacts can be filtered as such and will appear at the top of your contacts list in SmartComm® UC Mobile.
