Grid4 ‘Summer BBQ’ Ignites Networking at Automation Alley Event

Troy, August 10, 2009 – Grid4 Communications hosted the Automation Alley Summer Networking Event at its headquarters in Troy on Thursday, July 23rd. This seasonal networking event joined together the members of Automation Alley to discuss business opportunities with one another to promote Michigan Business. The ‘Summer BBQ’ themed event had a fantastic turn-out, resulting in record attendance for a Summer Networking Event.

Local business professionals gathered at Grid4’s newly renovated facility, including some noteworthy guests: Brooks Patterson, Oakland County Executive; Mike Cox, Attorney General; Marty Knollenberg, State Representative and Mike Bouchard, Sheriff of Oakland County.

Grid4 is proud to have offered a special environment where Michigan companies could create opportunity with one another. “Automation Alley’s Summer Networking Event at Grid4 Communications was a tremendous success,” said Executive Director Ken Rogers. “With nearly 350 members in attendance, Grid4’s team hosted an enjoyable evening that provided excellent networking with the hope for future sales and partnerships.” Brief presentations were made by Brooks Patterson, Oakland County Executive, Ken Rogers, Executive Director of Automation Alley and Chris Hopkins, CEO of Grid4 Communications. All offered inspiring words from the podium in Grid4’s Technology and Conference Center.
